How to be more motivated and effective during the current crisis.

Here’s one simple thing anyone can do. Before today is over, write down the two most important things you need to accomplish tomorrow.

Do not confuse what is most urgent with what is most important. You will probably do the most urgent things because you don’t want to get fired.  I’m asking you to write down the two actions that would result in the greatest movement toward what is most important for you tomorrow.

I did this for years which made me one of the most effective people at my work and then I would go home and be a pathetic husband when it came to accomplishing projects around the house.

Yogi Berra said “If you don’t know where you are going, you’ll end up someplace else.” So now (employing the most cutting edge technology available - a refrigerator white board from The Dollar Tree) my wife and I write on our refrigerator the two things we will accomplish together each evening.

Brian Tracy said "Every minute you spend in planning saves 10 minutes in execution; this gives you a 1,000 percent return on energy!”

Before today is over, write down on the fridge, or on your calendar, in your phone or on the inside of your eyelids the two most important things you need to accomplish tomorrow for your work or for your family.

If you do, you’ll increase your lead.
