Would you like to strike a blow against racism?

It’s been suggested that it would be helpful for us to talk with (or better yet listen to) people of other races so we can better empathize with them and their experience.


Alfred Adler said “Empathy is seeing with the eyes of another, listening with the ears of another and feeling with the heart of another.”  You’ll notice it takes more than listening; it also requires seeing and feeling.  That will probably take more than a conversation over coffee (of course shouting at each other from a 6 foot distance).


I’d like to encourage you to find a way to serve your community together with someone of a different race.  Here’s a couple of suggestions.

Do good.


Together.


It will increase your lead.
